I'm a multimedia reporter and radio producer originally from Oakland, CA. I've known that I loved audio news reporting since I first started doing the rush hour traffic reports for WSOU 89.5 FM in undergrad college. Since then, I've covered stories ranging from health care legislation to anti-war protests to MLB Opening Day to gender equality in sports.I was an executive producer at Annenberg Radio News and have an M.S. in Journalism from the University of Southern California. My passion as a journalist is to promote truth and protect democracy.I've uprooted myself several times over the years and made new homes across countries and continents. For my undergrad degree, I did a double major in Diplomacy & International Relations and Modern Languages at Seton Hall University in NJ. I also took a five-month semester abroad in Buenos Aires, AR. I love to experience new places and cultures, and to find stories within those local communities. I'm also a photographer, a writer and a semi-retired rugger.Links to some of my published work are here; my online CV is here.
